Working with service users, I led and produced an exhibition celebrating the creative talents of local inpatient, forensic and community-based mental health services users. This exhibition was held at Kardomah94.
This exhibition later contributed to my BA dissertation, titled ‘A Picture of Health; an examination of the relationships between art and meaningful mental health recovery’, which you can find here.
“I felt like a star”
“The exhibition far exceeded the expectations of what I thought it would be. The artwork was phenomenal. What really overwhelmed me was the unity in the room. There was no division between staff/patient/carers but instead artists and admirers.”
