Interwoven

Interwoven takes place within a small rug shop; a place where colour, craftsmanship, and conversation naturally converge. The shop has an earthy, grounded warmth… woven textures, soft light, and the quiet scent of natural fibres and incense create a space that feels both rooted and welcoming. Surrounded by this calm, I spend quiet hours drawing and painting amongst the gentle rhythm of shopkeeping. This self-directed residency is as much about presence and patience as it is about art – a meditation on time, labour, reconnection, and the quiet conditions that allow creativity to take root.
