This rug brings fungi to the surface, making visible what usually goes unnoticed beneath our feet. We walk across vast fungal networks every day without seeing them. Here, that hidden world rises into view.

By painting fungi onto a rug – an object designed to be walked upon – the work connects two things that belong to the ground, inviting us to consider the quiet, living systems that support our everyday lives.
