Workshops and Courses
Here are some examples of half or full day creative workshops available for community groups, creative professionals, private groups and corporate businesses. This list is by no means exhaustive as I have over 25 years of practical making experience… so if you have any particular ideas of what you’d like to do, I want to hear them! I am available to deliver one-off workshops, longer courses, open spaces, weekend retreats and more, with either individuals and groups, both online and in-person.

Fees
My typical rate is £345 per day, reflecting my broad and lengthy experience, unique skills and specialist knowledge as directed by the current Rates of Pay set out by Artists Union England. This is due to rise with inflation in 2025/26.
Artist Fees compensate the time and labour involved in research, development, preparation, delivery, administration and time spent commuting. Fees do not include the cost of materials, equipment rental costs, travel costs, publication costs, insurance or shipping, or any other cost associated with art production. There is a typical flat rate of £345 (as per Artist Union recommendations) for a half-day workshop, talk or presentation or other activity requiring prior preparation and administration, or £173 per half-day activity that requires zero preparation or administration (e.g. supporting another facilitator). Longer term or non-profit work may be negotiated, and sessional or day rates may be adjusted according to the nature of the work (£43-55ph). Additionally, in an effort to encourage common development projects and transcend social, cultural or economic barriers that would otherwise separate us, I am also open to bartering and alternative trading methods following negotiation.
